В Северной Америке объявлен крупный конкурс для дизайнеров интерьера.  Необходимо смоделировать пространство кухни, грамотно, оригинально его наполнить и представить описания вашего проекта. Размеры регламентированы, в проекте должны присутствовать элементы продукции организаторов. Существуют несколько категорий такие, как: традиционное оформление, современный дизайн, другие стилистики. Призы : 40 000$; 20 000$; 15 000$;10 000$. Присутствует также категория для студентов. Приз в данной категории : 5 000$. Участие в конкурсе бесплатное.

Kitchen Design Contest: Official Rules

All design and construction must be fully completed within the contest period of January 1, 2010, through October 31, 2012. The individual entrant must be the person who designed the kitchen. Entry timeline is January 1, 2012, through October 31, 2012. The contest will be judged by a panel of professional kitchen designers representing various disciplines under kitchen design. Decisions of the judges are final. If a team of two or more designers enters the contest and is selected as a regional winner, only one trip for two will be awarded. The designers must decide who will attend the contest celebration.

Only professionals, including kitchen dealers, kitchen designers, architects, interior designers and builders/remodelers, are eligible to participate. Contestants may enter more than one design. Designer or firm name must not appear on any plans, narrative or photographs. Regional winners will be announced during regional gala events in February 2013. The Winners’ conference and Awards Event will be held at the Sub-Zero and Wolf headquarters in Madison, WI, late spring 2013. Designers’ and peoples’ choice award voting begins online after the regional celebration events in February 2013.

Project Entry Requirements
Kitchen must include at least one full-size Sub-Zero built-in or integrated refrigeration unit. Kitchen must also include at least one Wolf cooking appliance as primary food preparation equipment. This includes ranges, rangetops, ovens and cooktops. Ventilation, microwave ovens and warming drawers not included.

Please include the following materials with your entry:
Floor plan and elevation or perspective drawings in 1/2" scale.
A minimum of two color photographs of the completed design. Additional photos are welcomed with “before” shots if possible.
A short, written narrative (no more than 200 words) describing your kitchen design. We want to hear about the design challenges you faced and how you overcame them.​​

$40,000 first place contemporary kitchen
$20,000 second place (any style kitchen)
$10,000 third place (any style kitchen)
$15,000 online designers’ choice award (any style kitchen)
$15,000 online peoples’ choice award (any style kitchen)
$5,000 North American student winner

North American Regional Winners
Best use of Sub-Zero and Wolf in the kitchen.

Trip for two for each regional winner to the winners’ conference and awards event in Madison.
National PR and online program for regional winners.
Customized publicity and marketing kit for each regional winner.

International Regional Winners
Best use of Sub-Zero and Wolf in the kitchen.

Trip for two for six international winners to the winners’ conference and awards event in Madison, WI.
National publicity in winner’s country.
