Объявлена информация о приеме работ на участие в выставке Нью-Йоркского Фото фестиваля!
Организаторы NYPH’12 предоставляют уникальную площадку для фотографов и художников, где будут выставлены работы ведущих мастеров и развивающихся талантов, выбранные кураторами фестиваля. Работы увидят сотни тысяч приглашённых и прохожих с 16 по 20 мая 2012 года.
Кураторы фестиваля выберут самые лучшие работы, предоставленные в категориях: художественная фотография, документальные работы, реклама, книги, мультимедиа. К участию в конкурсе приглашены фотографы и мультимедиа художники в возрасте старше 18 лет.
Участие в конкурсе платное. Плата за участие в конкурсе для студентов ниже.
The New York Photo Festival 2012 edition will explore the matrix of art photography and social documentary, with exhibitions, programming, and special events that examine points of origin and the intersection of these two traditional categories of image-making. With its first-ever thematic grid in place, NYPH hopes to illuminate the formal and conceptual interplay between the artistic and photographic endeavors along the art-documentary axis, and showcase the methodologies of both new technologies and old processes in manufacturing the matrix output. And—for the first time—anyone can join in.
Juried work from the New York Photo Festival Invitational, an online submission-based review platform run by the festival, will be selected industry professionals and exhibited at the POWERHOUSE ARENA Dumbo. Also for the first time, viewers and attendees of the festival will be allowed to vote for their top selection in a new Award category: Viewer Favorite.
