Нью-Йоркский Центр Фотоискусства (NYC4PA: NEW YORK CENTER FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC ART) приглашает фотографов поделиться впечатлениями сельской жизни. На конкурс можно отправить изображения, созданные любым фотографическим методом и в любом стиле. Приветствуются экспериментальные и смешанные техники (однако принимаются только 2D-работы). Участвовать могут профессионалы и любители со всего мира. Победителей ждет призовой фонд $3,000.
Их фото-работы будут показаны на выставке New York Gallery Exhibition, а также войдут в онлайн-галерею NYC4PA Online Gallery и в каталог RURAL IMPRESSIONS 2015. Лучший кадр (гран-при) разместят на главной странице http://www.nyc4pa.com.
В сентябре 2015 победители и авторы, отмеченные жюри, получат возможность принять участие в шоу галереи JADITE GALLERY (Манхэттен, район Hell’s Kitchen)
Тема конкурса: Сельские впечатления.
Покидая пределы города, вы почти сразу почувствуете разницу. Лошади среди холмов или дома со ржавыми машинами на газонах, куры во дворе, кактусы в пустыне или тихий пруд с утками… Что бы вы ни представили на конкурс - архитектуру, ландшафт или приметы жизни в загородной местности - мы будем рады их увидеть.

Все победители получат сертификат Нью-Йоркского Центра Фотоискусства.
Для начисления денежных призов призов рекомендуется завести PayPal-аккаунт.
В форме регистрации на конкурс есть поле “Штат” (State). Оно актуально, в первую очередь, для США, и может не заполняться в других странах.
Регистрационный взнос составит $35 за первые три работы. Можно подавать больше: количество фотографий от одного автора не ограничивается, но если вы отправляете больше, чем три изображения, каждое следующее будет стоить $10.

RURAL IMPRESSIONS 2015
NEW YORK CENTER FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC ART

DEADLINE: JUNE 17, 2015 (Midnight Pacific Time)
The New York Center for Photographic Arts (NYC4PA) invites photographers world-wide to submit images using any photographic process (print, image transfer, emulsion transfer, encaustic, black and white, etc.). Winners will receive $3,000 in cash awards, be featured in a New York Gallery Exhibition, on the NYC4PA Online Gallery and in the RURAL IMPRESSIONS 2015 catalog. The Grand Prize winning image will be posted on the NYC4PA home page.
We are very excited that Winners and Juror’s Selections will have the opportunity to participate in a gallery show, SEPTEMBER 15 – 26, 2015, at the JADITE GALLERY in the exciting Hell’s Kitchen area in Manhattan.
RURAL IMPRESSIONS
You can almost feel the difference when you travel out of a city. Rural evokes scenes of horse country with rolling hills, houses with rusted cars on the lawn and chickens in the yard, a desert with cactus, or the serene setting of a pond crowded with birds. Whatever images you have that speak to the architecture, landscape, or life in rural areas around the world we would love to see them.
EXHIBITION AND AWARDS:
Grand Prize: One photographer will receive $750. The image will be part of the New York gallery show, the NYC4PA Online Gallery and the exhibition catalog. It will be featured on the home page of NYC4PA website.

First Prizes: 3 photographers will each receive $300. Their images will be exhibited in the New York Gallery show, the NYC4PA Online Gallery and in the exhibition catalog.

Second Prizes: 3 photographers will each receive $250. Their images will be exhibited in the New York Gallery show, the NYC4PA Online Gallery and in the exhibition catalog.

Third Prizes: 3 photographers will each receive $200. Their images will be exhibited in the New York Gallery show, the NYC4PA Online Gallery and in the exhibition catalog.

Jurors’ Selections: 15 additional images will be exhibited in the New York Gallery show, the NYC4PA Online Gallery and in the exhibition catalog.

Honorable Mention: 20 additional images will be exhibited in the Online Gallery and listed in the exhibition catalog.
*All Prize Winners, Juror Selections and Honorable Mentions will receive an NYC4PA certificate.
ELIGIBILITY:
This Call for Entries is open worldwide to both amateur and professional photographers. NYC4PA invites photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate. Experimental and mixed techniques are welcome. Only 2-D work is eligible.
TO ENTER:
The entry fee is $35 for the first three images. Additional images may be submitted for $10 each. There is no limit to the number of images submitted.

JUROR: Frank Meo
Frank Meo is the founder of thephotocloser.com, an online global search engine that connects photographers to art buyers, editors and clients. Currently thephotocloser.com represents 200+ photographers and video directors in 80 cities around the world.
Currently he writes a monthly column for Resource Magazine and Pro Photo Daily.
For 25 years, has represented photographers that include Pulitzer Prize winning photojournalists in securing highly valued commercial assignments. He has worked on hundreds of company photo libraries and campaigns for clients such as American Express, Acura Motor Sports, US Coast Guard, Xerox, ESPN, Citi, Nike and others.
Meo has been an active member of The Society of Photographers and Artists Representatives (SPAR) from 1984-present. He participates on various panels and workshops for the International Center of Photography (ICP), The Art Directors Club, The One Club for Art & Copy, American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), and Advertising Photographers of America (APA), PDN Expo and Palm Springs Photo Festival. In 2010 he was a nominator for the prestigious Infinity Awards. He was a judge for the Foto Week DC Awards as well as the PDN Photo Contest.

All entrants to NYC4PA Open Calls for Entry, by virtue of their submission, are attesting that the images submitted are their own work and there has been no copyright infringement. NYC4PA will not be held liable for any infringement of rights that might surface during the jurying or displaying of any image.
By submitting you grant NYC4PA the right to use your image(s) for promotion and advertisement of NYC4PA as well as inclusion in the NYC4PA catalog if the image is prize winning, juror selection or honorable mention.
Images selected by jurors for Prizes, Juror's Selection or Honorable Mention in a previous NYC4PA international call for entry are not eligible. Images previously submitted but not selected may be resubmitted as often as you wish.
AWARDS:
Should your award notification or prize be returned as undeliverable, NYC4PA will not resend the notice (whether by the same or another method,) research your address nor make any further attempts at delivery, and your submission will be deemed ineligible. Please be careful when entering all your contact information.
NYC4PA would prefer to remit cash awards through a PayPal transfer. If you do not have a PayPal account to which we can remit your award, please contact us for alternate arrangements.
MAILING LISTS:
As a submitter NYC4PA will include you in future mailings and announcements. If you would prefer NOT to be on our mailing list please log onto http://www.nyc4pa.com/#!contact and ask to be removed.
NON U.S. APPLICANTS:
Our entry software has an address field for the state you live in. This applies to the US and several other countries - if you do not have “state” as part of your address simply leave that field blank - it is not mandatory.
