Тема конкурса: Быстротечность. Работы которые показывают процесс изменения, мимолетности, быстротечности. Главный приз - месечная резиденция в Арле + выставка на фестивале атак же выставка в январе в галерее Huit Penang, Малазия. Выбранные работы будут печататься на средства галереи. Участие платное. Участники должны быть не младше 16 лет.

Galerie Huit Open Salon 2011 is an open International Photographic Competition designed to showcase cutting-edge contemporary and emerging photography from around the world and promote new work by talented artists, enabling them to exhibit and receive exposure during the renowned international Photography Festival ‘Les Rencontres d’Arles’ in Southern France.
EXHIBITION THEME: Transience. We are inviting images that evoke and relay the concept of transience – references that relate to change or the process of changing. How do we relate to a permanent state of transition, impermanence and the passing of time? Genres and inspiration relating to change and transition can be wide-ranging and relate to any aspect of our lives – personal, historical, environmental, cultural, global, political, social, geographical or seasonal. The theme encourages the exploration of any number of observations, concepts, emotions, experiences and beliefs.
Images are submitted digitally via the website. The competition theme for 2011 is ‘Transience’ and applicants – who can be at any stage of their career – will be judged on creativity, conceptual strength and technical skill.
