Организаторы International Awards Photography проводят один из самых амбициозных и масштабных конкурсов в мире фотографии - ежегодный конкурс для профессиональных, непрофессиональных фотографов. Для авторов работающих почти во всех направлениях и жанрах есть своя категория. Победитель в категории профессиональной фотографии получит денежный приз в размере 10 000$ и статуэтку Lucie. Победитель в категории непрофессиональной фотографии получит приз в размере 5 000$ и статуэтку Lucie.Номинанты в категории NEW Moving Images будут соревноваться за звание Moving Images Photographer of the Year, статуэтку Lucie и денежный приз в размере 2 500$. Работы занявшие первые места также будут опубликованы в книге Annual International Photography Awards Annual.
Приглашённый куратор IPA выберет 45 изображений финалистов, занявших первое, второе и третье место из обеих категорий. Эти работы будут выставлены в течении недели на выставке, посвященной 10 ежегодному конкурсу IPA "Tenth Annual Lucie Awards" в Лос-Анжелесе.

Now in its tenth year, the International Photography Awards conducts an annual competition for professional, non- professional, and student photographers on a global level, creating one of the most ambitious and comprehensive competitions in the photography world today.
The IPA competition is open to any living photographer, 18 years of age or older, from any country. Professional photographers will be judged against other professionals and non-professionals against other non-professionals and students.
Each year, the IPA will invite an established curator to select 45 images from both the professional and non-professional pools of first, second, and third place winners to be exhibited in an exclusive show in Los Angeles, during the week leading up to the Tenth Annual Lucie Awards event.

Lucie Statue
The statue was influenced by two photographers, Frantisek Drtikol and E. O. Hoppe. "Lucie" is the sculptural form inspired by the synthesis of two famous photographic images from the first half of the twentieth century. Taken from the Latin word, "lux" for "light", Lucie is a tribute to the influence that light plays in photography. In the past years more than 50 top international photography masters have been honored by the Lucie Awards.
Lucie Awards
The photography community from countries around the globe will pay tribute to the most outstanding photography achievements presented at the gala ceremony, the Lucie Awards. Honors will be given for Lifetime Achievement, distinguishing some of the world's greatest men and women whose life's work in fashion, photojournalism, advertising, portraiture, sports, documentary and fine art photography, merit the highest acclaim by their peers. Each year, the Advisory Board nominates deserving individuals across a variety of categories who will be honored during the Lucie Awards ceremony. Once the nominations have been received, the votes are tallied and an honoree in each category is identified. The winners of IPA Photographer of the Year, Deeper Perspective and the Discovery of the Year competitions are announced at the Lucies and are awarded cash prizes and the Lucie Statue.
IPA Annual Book
The work of all first, second and third place winners will be published in the high-quality, full-color, International Photography Awards Book together with the name of all the Honorable mention recipients.
