Объявлена международная премия для фотографов, снимающих путешествия. Призовой фонд: A$9,500+. Участвовать может любой фотограф старше 18 лет.
Премия создана в Австралии, чтобы отметить авторов, чей стиль зачастую обделен вниманием критиков или других фотопремий. Организаторы ищут фотографов, работы которых вдохновляют познавать богатство мира, убедительно передают образы людей, природы и мест.
Победителя ждет участие в 9-дневном Африканском сафари (Experiential Travel Safari) вместе с известным фотографом Neville Jones. Место и время проведения: Botswana’s Okavango Delta, 21-30 августа 2015. Стоимость такого приза оценивается в A$9000. Сафари начнется и закончится в городе Maun (организаторы не оплачивают дорогу до Мауна).
Так же вручаются две награды “Народный выбор” (People's Choice awards) - сертификаты на обучение в Leica Academie ( https://leica-akademie.com.au ), стоимостью $299. Сертификаты действительны в течение года после окончания конкурса.
В жюри профессиональный фотограф Nick Rains (Australian Institute of Professional Photography, Australian Geographic, Outback, GEO, Sports Illustrated, TIME, BBC и др). Спонсор премии: Experiential Travel.
Принимаются цифровые изображения разрешением не менее 1024 x 768: jpeg, png, tiff или RAW. Регистрационный взнос составит $10 за три изображения.
Победителей назовут в конце июня 2015.

Announcing the Experiential Photographer of the Year Awards, 2015
New award to recognise travel-focused experiential photographers for the first time
$9,500+ in prizes.
People's Choice Award voted from the Public Gallery.
The Experiential Photographer of the Year Awards recognise photographers who excel in capturing compelling images of people and places and who, in doing so, inspire others to experience the world more richly. The award is intended to address a gap in the Australian photographic awards spectrum, rewarding a style of photography that is often under-recognised by critics and existing awards programs.
The Awards are open to any photographer over the age of 18.
The first prize is substantial in order to attract a quality field of entries with the overall winner earning a place on an Experiential Travel Safari with globally recognised photographer, Neville Jones, in Botswana’s Okavango Delta this August – a prize worth $8,900.
There will also be two People's Choice awards, each worth $299.
The Awards will be judged by Nick Rains, an internationally recognised professional photographer who’s work has featured in iconic publications such as Australian Geographic, Outback, GEO, Sports Illustrated, TIME, BBC and many others. Nick is a Master of Photography with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and is a National Judge at the annual Australian Professional Print Awards (APPA).

About Neville Jones
Neville is Chairman of Advertising Agency Accelerator, based in Melbourne Australia; a former Partner in Accenture, the Global Consulting firm; and an award winning photographer. He has many years experience in understanding the professional and personal aspirations of leaders and executives from many industries around the world.
