Нью-Йоркский корейский культурный центр Gallery Korea ищет художников для групповых выставках. Работы выбранного художников будут показаны в одной из серии групповых выставок в 2012 году. Заявки так же принимаются от групп художников и кураторов с полноценными групповыми проектами. Этот призыв является открытым для всех художников, независимо от возраста, расы, цвета кожи, религии, национального происхождения, пола.Заявку необходимо отослать по почте. Для финалистов, галерея предоставит пресс-релиз, печатные приглашения и открытие выставки, однако пересылка работ осуществляется за счет автора. Участие бесплатное.

The selected artists' works will be featured in one of the group exhibition-series in 2012. Deadline for submission is October 28th, 2011. This call is open to all artists, regardless of age, race, color, religion, national origin, gender or physical disability. Also artists can submit the artwork as an individual or group. However, for a group submission, the theme of the show and brief curating statement is required. Artwork may be in any media including, but not limited to painting, sculpture, video and photography. Artwork dimension must not exceed 6 1/2 feet in order to accommodate the gallery. The materials will be reviewed carefully by jurors including critics and curators in November, 2011 and the finalists will be announced in December, 2011 on the website of Korean Cultural Service NY, followed by exhibition schedules. For the finalists, Gallery Korea will provide press release, printed invitations and opening reception of the group exhibition, whereas the selected artists will be responsible for any other incurring costs including handling, shipping, and installing artworks. Your application should include: the application form (available at www.koreanculture.org), current resume, artist bio & statement, 10 Images of the works available for the shows and the list of the images submitted. Please send the application by mail or drop-off in person. We do not accept online application.
