We are writing to you on behalf of the students at LearningSpring, a unique, not-profit school here in New York City for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). We are asking for your help as we plan our annual Spring benefit Auction, to be held on March 7, 2011.
When you have a child with ASD, it is very challenging to and a school that can address his or her educational, social and emotional needs. Our children have to work very hard to achieve what comes easily to most children, and their disabilities require more than can be provided in a general classroom. LearningSpring provides a specialized and multi-disciplinary approach to meet these needs of its students, who come from all I've boroughs to attend its full-year program.
We would be very grateful if you made a donation of an art item, experience or service for the silent auction at our Annual Benefit. Can you help us this year?
